Preach The Gospel To The Poor

Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Your servant my husband is dead; and you know that your servant did fear the Lord: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen. And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for you? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not anything in the house, save a pot of oil. Then he said, Go, borrow you vessels abroad of all your neighbors, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. And when you have come in, you shalt shut the door upon you and upon your sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and you shalt set aside that which is full. So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out. And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay your debt, and live you and your children of the rest.

And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: And the Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.

For the Lord your God blesses you, as he promised you: and you shalt lend unto many nations, but you shall not borrow; and you shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you. If there be among you a poor man of one of your brethren within any of your gates in your land which the Lord your God gives you, you shalt not harden your heart, nor shut your hand from your poor brother: But you shalt open your hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wants.

The Lord shall open unto you his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto your land in his season, and to bless all the work of your hand: and you shalt lend unto many nations, and you shalt not borrow.

And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power. And after six days Jesus takes with him Peter, and James, and John, and leads them up into a high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them. And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them. And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.

Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things you have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.

Thank you, for freeing me, Lord, that you are concerned about me, that you have not condemned me for borrowing, but you will and shall bless me because you said that you will. Let God be true and everyone else a liar. God increased the widow's oil, he will increase your blessing that you may be a blessing. All I need is Jesus, the Son of the Living God, the True Vine of the Farm of God, knowing that nothing can separate me from His love. Amen.

Coming Out Of Bondage

And it came to pass, when Rachel had born Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban, Send me away, that I may go unto mine own place, and to my country. Give me my wives and my children, for whom I have served you, and let me go: for you know my service which I have done you. And Laban said unto him, I pray you, if I have found favor in your eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the Lord has blessed me for your sake. And he said, Appoint me your wages, and I will give it. And he said unto him, You know how I have served you, and how your cattle was with me. For it was little which you had before I came, and it is now increased unto a multitude, and the Lord has blessed you since my coming: and now when shall I provide for mine own house also? And he said, What shall I give you? And Jacob said, You shalt not give me anything: if you will do this thing for me, I will again feed and keep your flock. I will pass through all your flock today, removing from there all the speckled and spotted cattle, and all the brown cattle among the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among the goats: and of such shall be my hire. So shall my righteousness answer for me in time to come, when it shall come for my hire before thy face: every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and brown among the sheep, that shall be counted stolen with me. And Laban said, Behold, I would it might be according to your word.

And he heard the words of Laban's sons, saying, Jacob has taken away all that was our father's, and of that which was our father's have he gotten all this glory. And you know that with all my power I have served your father. And your father has deceived me and changed my wages ten times, but God suffered him not to hurt me. If he said thus, The speckled shall be your wages; then all the cattle bare speckled: and if he said thus, The ringstraked shall be your hire; then bare all the cattle ringstraked. Thus God has taken away the cattle of your father, and given them to me.

Behold, the hire of the laborers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, cries: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.

And after six days Jesus takes Peter, James, and John his brother, and brings them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if you wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear you him.

Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things you have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.

Letting patience have its perfect work, that I have no lack of nothing. Thank you, God, for making it work out for my good, that I can take care of my household, Thank you, Lord, for looking unto me the poor and preaching the gospel to me, My Preacher, My Shepherd, and Friend. Amen.
