The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the Lord that seek him: your heart shall live for ever. The meek will He guide in judgment: and the meek will He teach his way. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. The Lord lifts up the meek: he casts the wicked down to the ground. For the Lord takes pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

Being meek or having the fruit of meekness has great benefits and it's truly a fruit of the Spirit of God. We take meekness as a weakness in this world, let us reevaluate what meekness is really about.
