For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consists not in the abundance of the things which he possesses...So is he that lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God...For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what you shall eat; neither for the body, what you shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life...For if by one man's offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them: how much more are you better than the fowls? God is your life, and your life is not your own, you have been bought with a price, so now glorify God in your body which is God's.
