Your Adversary (Your Enemy)

But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? from where then have it tares? He said unto them, An enemy has done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt you then that we go and gather them up? But he said, No; lest while you gather up the tares, you root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest, I will say to the reapers, Gather you together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who has called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that you have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret because the Lord had shut up her womb.

Watch and pray, that you enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world comes, and have nothing in me.

Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

But he gives more grace. Wherefore he says, God resists the proud but gives grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

Through the years people have said "the devil made me do it", and we laughed for the truth of it, but the devil didn't make you do anything, we thought. But yet the devil is the one who planned it all. This is why we must watch and pray, not just pray, but watch also. While we sleep or are not watching, the devil creeps and schemes looking for your weaknesses to keep your mind off God, but resist him in the faith realizing that it is the devil that is our adversary, the word of God says so. If you resist the devil he will flee from you, that means you must see what he has done to you before, and draw nigh to God and God will draw nigh to you...Amen..Thank you, God! for blessing me with a relationship with yourself, this is the main thing that the devil would like to take from you, Lord, is my praise of all the things, You have done for me...Thank you Lord, for showing me your salvation..Amen.
